Each component is carefully chosen and configured to ensure maximum water pressure reaches every jet. This attention to detail means you'll feel the full therapeutic benefit, from gentle relief to deep tissue massage – exactly where you need it most.
Whether you're seeking hydrotherapy, swim training, or family fun, you can trust that every Sapphire Spa is crafted here in Australia to deliver superior jet performance that you'll appreciate day after day.
Spa jets work by combining water and air through carefully engineered nozzles, where powerful pumps push water through while air is mixed in to create that massaging effect.
The water pressure can be adjusted by controlling how much air mixes with the water flow, letting you customise the massage intensity to your preference.
At Sapphire Spas, we've perfected our SQR jet system through careful attention to:
We take a scientific approach to jet configuration. Here's why this matters:
This carefully integrated system, built right here in Australia, ensures you'll feel the true power of every jet – whether you're seeking therapeutic relief or an invigorating workout in one of our swim spas.
Single-port jets that can be fixed or adjustable, perfect for targeting specific muscles
Create a pulsating massage sensation that intensifies with water pressure
Our unique 'bed of bubbles' feature delivers ion-charged air for deep muscle relief
The size of each jet matters too – smaller jets provide intense, focused pressure while larger jets offer soothing therapy over broader areas.
In today's world of desk work and screen time, our bodies face unprecedented physical and mental stress. That's why we've carefully designed our jet layouts to provide targeted relief where you need it most.
Every Sapphire Spas spa pool features strategically placed jets that work together to deliver effective hydrotherapy.
We’ve created the most effective jet combinations to best massage your muscles where it’s most needed.
The jet clusters within an upright seat, a full body lounger, or a neck & shoulder system, will target your muscles to create the hydrotherapy treatments most needed by many peoples’ bodies.
From a few powerful larger jets targeting the centre of your back, to an intricate arrangement with a different jet positioned on each of your muscles, all our spas are built with an optimal balance between the pump power, water flow plumbing arrangement and the jet face massage that you experience:
Our neck and shoulder massagers are carefully designed with wrap-around neck support to cradle your head while your neck is caressed with targeted directional jets. These massage pads use four powerful jets aimed in pairs at each side of your upper and lower neck, including your traps. These are a must-have feature for the executive or office worker who does a lot of computer work or carries the stress of a large company on their shoulders.
Spine massagers are designed to cradle the spine with a row of jets along each side of the spinal column. Our spinal massagers are designed to stimulate blood flow to deliver more oxygen to the fine muscles around the vertebrae and help release tension. To achieve this our spine massage clusters use a combination of directional jets and rotating pulse jets to create a luxurious massage that works deeper into your muscles the more you relax.
Much like the spine massagers, the acupressure bed is designed to provide a full back massage. The difference is where a spine massager uses a twin row of jets, the acupressure bed uses a central row targeting the vertebrae directly and a row of directional or pulsating jets on each side to caress all the way down from the shoulder blades, to the lats, ribs and lower back.
Just take a minute to remember where your feet have taken you today. We created this massage system to reward your feet and calves to get them ready for another full day tomorrow.
This purpose-built recliner targets the muscles of your legs, hips, thighs, buttocks and calves to deliver an invigorating hydro workout without the sweat.
Subtly positioned beneath the waterline, multi-coloured LED beams of light produce a fluent display interacting with the movement of water and bubbles within your spa.
Enjoy a massive blast of water turbulence through this gigantic, multi-port jet; the most powerful and exhilarating jet you’ll ever experience
Targeted hydrotherapy jets are placed in each seat to maximise muscle recovery benefits.

If you can fit a swim spa into your home, you will also be able to walk and stretch your body in the larger open pool space.
Supported by the water, try stretching your arms and legs and gently twisting your upper body to release tight muscles throughout your spine, back, neck and shoulders.
Swim spas have 4 x powerful jets to create a current that you can actually swim against, whilst held by the buoyancy of the water and pump pressure. In our best swim spa models, each swim jet is powered by its own pump. But even with 2 swim jets, you get a jet stream that’s strong enough to swim and exercise against.
Grids of powerful massage jets can be added at the swim jet end, so you can stand against the wall of the spa and rotate to treat all muscles in your body, whilst in a standing position. Our swim spas also have jetted seats just like a spa pool, with concentrated clusters of jets to focus on your back, neck, legs and even your feet.

We hope you enjoy choosing from our range of exceptional spas with a size, seating arrangement and massage therapy to suit every 'body'.
When you’re first looking into buying a spa, you may think all the models on the market look similar so will offer similar benefits.
But make sure you ask about the quality of a jet; how it’s sealed and plumbed to push all the water flow pressure into the hydro massage stream and whether it will be replaced under warranty if it seizes, comes loose from it’s fixing point or reduces in massage pressure.
That’s when you’ll notice differences in quality assurance, and that our SQR spa jets are the best in the Australian market.
The advanced jets on all Sapphire Spas use the SQR (simple, quick, reliable) system and are a patented technology providing significant benefits over traditional jets and cheap, overseas screw-ins.
In essence, this system uses better seals to provide increased jet pressure, a more reliable installation free of placing plastic components under pressure and stress when tightened and a faster installation process to facilitate better spa production.
Sapphire Spas 3 YEAR NO LEAK JET WARRANTY is the best in the spa pool market today.
Our jets promise peak performance and you can expect this throughout the life of your spa.
Even after the warranty period expires, our Australian manufacturing facility can rectify water flow issues, working conveniently with your local place of purchase.
Replacement parts kept here in Australia allow for a realistic repair cost and means you can keep the water flow system within your spa at the same peak performance as when you first purchased.
We’ve placed a selection of our best spas and jet systems around Australia in your local showroom for you to ‘try on’. This means that you’ll be able to find a jet massage system to suit your body and budget.
Once you actually sit in a spa, you’ll sense the areas of your body that are supported and where the jets will interact with your muscles. If you have a stiff and sore lower back then make sure you choose a spa with larger jets in that region or a concentrated cluster of smaller, targeted jets that work together to loosen tightness within your muscles.
Choose a spa jet with at least a 3-year warranty and ensure it can be replaced even after that period expires. The way the jets are arranged together is just as important as the physical construction of the jet body itself; choose a jet design seating arrangement where the water pressure will massage your muscles which most need it.
A hot tub jet that targets the muscles you most need to massage is more important than the number of jets in your spa. The jets should also be interchangeable in case they need replacing and make sure they’re readily available either from your local spa & pool shop or the manufacturer.
A good warranty period for spa jets is at least 3 years but you should also expect that even once the warranty period has expired, your spa components will still be available for the life of your spa; so 15-20 years. Sapphire Spas still supports replacement jets for our older model spa pools so they can be enjoyed by our customers for many years to come.
A hot tub can give you a good massage even if it only has 6 jets, as long as they’re powered by a strong enough pump. If a spa has more than 50 jets, it should have multiple pumps to produce enough water pressure to feel a strong hydrotherapy massage. It depends on what you can afford; if you’re limited on a budget then choose fewer jets to make sure they have good pressure BUT if your budget is unlimited then 100+ jets in a spa, powered by up to 4 pumps will provide the best massage available.
